The Audio Visual Specialist is part of a dynamic team that delivers Information Technology, Digital Trainer and Logistics, which includes private networks used to conduct training and training support for our DoD Customer.  
The Audio-Visual Specialist shall provide daily on-site operational and sustainment support for installed classroom audiovisual equipment (hardware, software and ancillary and associated items of equipment to include networking and video tele-training (VTT) for TRADOC Enterprise Classroom Program (ECP) classrooms.
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide daily on-site operational and sustainment support which includes maintaining on a daily basis, a log of performance tasks, customer requests, and known issues.
• Utilize Ticketing System to capture workload.
• Capture daily and weekly sustainment reporting requirements via the online Repository.
• Provide status reporting of daily activities, recurring or significant issues, classroom maintenance/preventative maintenance checks and services and problems resolved.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance of each installed TRADOC ECP classroom audiovisual equipment by cleaning/dusting projectors and audiovisual equipment cabinet as needed.
• Change projector filters and projector lamps as required.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve classroom equipment performance issues and replace parts as required.
• Serve as the classroom support representative of the TRADOC ECP and maintain routine communications with the TRADOC ECP PM Office at Fort Eustis, VA.
• Maintain Common Operating Picture (COP) of all TRADOC ECP Classrooms
• Assist on-site Government and other personnel with daily classroom operation of audiovisual equipment
• Provide on-site audiovisual expertise for TRADOC ECP classrooms.

• Document shipping and receiving of classroom audiovisual equipment repair/replacement parts to include documenting incoming and outgoing materials, labeling, packaging, and shipment of material as required.
• Produce audio products of presentations, ceremonies, conferences, and other events, and set up equipment for others' use in accomplishing the same.
• Receive requests for audiovisual equipment and set-up to record ceremonies such as change-of-command, retirements, awards, special occasions, presentations and other events, as well as conferences of up to a few days in length.
• Coordinate with customers to determine audiovisual requirements, conduct site surveys at various locations on the installation to verify access to power outlets, furniture arrangement, and number of speakers required.
• Determine quantity and configuration position of equipment, pack, transport to and from work site, install, adjust, maintain and operate audiovisual equipment, supporting the Command’s and authorized customers’ events.
• Test systems prior to presentation or ceremony, set up and operate audiovisual equipment, monitor output during presentations, adjusting audio mixers, filters, and acoustic equalizers to prevent distortion and to ensure high-quality sound reproduction.
• Manage the audiovisual loaner program by maintaining, issuing and receiving audiovisual equipment.
• Develop and produce audiovisual products, perform work involved in communicating information through visual means, including photographs, illustrations, diagrams, models, and similar materials.
• Provide instructions and briefings on the use of audiovisual systems and instructional technologies by demonstrating use of equipment.
• Design visual products characterized by their novelty and unusual scale involving a multiplicity of media or individual visual components
• Analyze and develop Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) ensuring validity and applicability for all levels of the Command, ensuring validity and applicability to appropriate mission essential events.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Qualifications 
•    Clearance: Active Secret (Must be US Citizen) 
•    Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field of study, or 6 years relevant experience. 
•    Comptia Security+, DoDD 8570.01-M; appropriate Computing Environment (CE) certification for the operating system(s) and/or security related tools/devices supported. 
•    Minimum of 2 years of client support and 6 or more years in deploying systems in a MS Windows-based environment. 
•    3 or more years of specialized experience working in a MS Windows 7/8/10 environment supporting Windows Server 2003/2008, MS Exchange, MS Forefront Threat Management Gateway (Forefront TMG), formerly known as MS Internet Security and Acceleration Server (ISA), Share Point, SQL Server 2005 or current releases of all OS and application software.

Role Description:
Serves as the Site Lead for the Desktop Services and Technical Support Team at the JBMHH LNEC.  The candidate shall provide Site oversight in addition to both direct end-user support services and systems-level support services.  Candidate shall respond to customer trouble requests and problem calls received by telephone, email or generated from the internal automated software-based request system (Remedy) within C4IM guidelines.  The Candidate shall resolve customer issues using automated remote-control software where possible.  .

• Contact the hardware or software vendor to resolve problems for equipment and software under a warranty or service plan. For other equipment and software, advise the COR via email of the need for vendor-level assistance within two (2) hours of discovery
• Comply with configuration management guidance on user systems as environment changes.  
• Provide user support for advanced functions such as scheduling off-line users and multi-profile workstations, e.g., Exchange Client and Outlook configurations for multiple clients on the same system. 
• Provide user support for advanced functions such as scheduling off-line users and multi-profile workstations (examples: Microsoft (MS) Exchange Client and Outlook) configurations for multiple clients on the same system.
• The Contractor shall acknowledge all Remedy tickets within one (1) workday and resolve all tickets within four (4) workdays. The Contractor shall notify the COR via email within two (2) hours of determining that the Contractor cannot resolve the issue, IAW para. 5.2.2.
• Verify problem and ensure that all the pertinent information is recorded, such as serial number, location, user’s name, phone number and problem.
• Provide an explanation to the user if the problem cannot be resolved within the required time standards set forth in paragraph 10 of this PWS.
• Make follow-up calls to the user (at least 10 percent of the trouble tickets generated within each week) to ensure that:
  • The problem has been resolved to the end-user’s satisfaction.
  • The equipment has continued to perform as required (if a hardware call).
  • The Contractor shall report the results of these calls to the COR in the monthly status report.

Job Description:

Responsible for performing functions associated with all production electronics manufacturing processes. Set up and use work areas to build printed circuit board/circuit card assemblies. Read schematics, customer assembly drawings, and internal work instructions to ensure conformance and total quality, with zero defects. Perform rework, quality, and validation testing related to the production of both subassemblies and final assemblies. Use manufacturing equipment, machines, and tools to semi-automate repeatable process steps.

Essential Functions:

Perform duties under periodic, general supervision. Work performed within identified boundaries and procedures.

Candidate must be able to assemble electronics subassemblies and final assemblies, using both printed and paperless work instructions.

Use both general and electronics tools to hand solder surface-mount devices (SMD) and through-hole components (TH), add/remove mechanical hardware, and perform rework.

Use programs to operate and maintain machines for automated optical inspection (AOI), x-ray inspection, selective soldering, and PCBA wash.

Work with engineering and test technicians to troubleshoot PCBAs that do not pass test on first attempt.

Recognize problems and risk with processes, then provide practical solutions for corrective action.

Support manufacturing by contributing to methods and procedures, in order to control or modify the manufacturing process.

Receive on-the-job knowledge/skills development and training in both IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.

Qualifications:

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and either 1) post-secondary/associates degree in related field or 2) a minimum of three (3) years of prior relevant experience in electronics.

Ability to hand solder both surface-mount devices (SMD) or through-hole (TH) components, demonstrated through soldering test.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Exposure to, prior certification, or active certification in IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001.

Interest in obtaining Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) training in either or both of these standards.

The mission of personnel performing alarm monitoring duties at the Directorate of Emergency Services (DES), Fort Hood, Texas Alarm Monitoring Station (AMS) is to provide constant monitoring of the 600 plus alarmed zones on the Fort Hood military installation and immediately take appropriate action, to include, informing the DES Police Dispatcher of any alarm zone status change requiring a Police response force response.

The AMS operator will also keep the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), the alarm maintenance technician, fully informed as to all zone and alarm system events that require maintenance action. The AMS operators will keep an accurate and detailed log of any event and every event, or other information pertinent to the overall AMS operation

All AMS operators will report for duty at the appointed time of their shift. AMS operators will be in appropriate attire and their personal appearance IAW the contract PWS.

The off-going AMS operator will conduct a thorough/detailed briefing of his/her shift events, to include any “pass-on” and pertinent information to the on-coming AMS operator prior to being relieved of his/her shift. The off-going AMS operator will complete all alarm activities/functions that occurred on his/her shift prior to being relieved. The on-coming AMS operator will assume all actions from the previous shift that could not be resolved prior to shift change. Posted guards will be included within the brief, to include their start times. Guards that were relieved will be included within the brief, to include both their posting and un-posting times/dates. This information will be annotated within the daily log.
