Read schematics, customer assembly drawings, and internal work instructions to ensure conformance and total quality, with zero defects. Perform rework, quality, and validation testing related to the production of both subassemblies and final assemblies. Use manufacturing equipment, machines, and tools to semi-automate repeatable process steps.

Perform duties under periodic, general supervision. Work performed within identified boundaries and procedures.
Candidate must be able to assemble electronics subassemblies and final assemblies, using both printed and paperless work instructions.

Providing alarm monitoring service for security systems around Fort Hood Military installation.
The mission of personnel performing alarm monitoring duties at the Directorate of Emergency Services (DES), Fort Hood, Texas Alarm Monitoring Station (AMS) is to provide constant monitoring of the 600 plus alarmed zones on the Fort Hood military installation and immediately take appropriate action, to include, informing the DES Police Dispatcher of any alarm zone status change requiring a Police response force response.
The AMS operator will also keep the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), the alarm maintenance technician, fully informed as to all zone and alarm system events that require maintenance action. The AMS operators will keep an accurate and detailed log of any event and every event, or other information pertinent to the overall AMS operation
All AMS operators will report for duty at the appointed time of their shift. AMS operators will be in appropriate attire and their personal appearance IAW the contract PWS.
The off-going AMS operator will conduct a thorough/detailed briefing of his/her shift events, to include any “pass-on” and pertinent information to the on-coming AMS operator prior to being relieved of his/her shift. The off-going AMS operator will complete all alarm activities/functions that occurred on his/her shift prior to being relieved. The on-coming AMS operator will assume all actions from the previous shift that could not be resolved prior to shift change. Posted guards will be included within the brief, to include their start times. Guards that were relieved will be included within the brief, to include both their posting and un-posting times/dates. This information will be annotated within the daily log.
